NAR continues to boast of benefits of home ownership
The National Association of Realtors is reiterating the benefits of home ownership as demand for homes on the market drops around the country.
The advertising campaign aims to convince potential buyers of the long term benefits of home ownership, including a constant return on investment. The report shows that the median price of existing homes has increased at least 6 percent or more during the past 30 years. This results in the doubling of home values every decade.
The national realtors group is focusing on long term homeowners who want to buy a home as their first residence, and not on high-risk investors looking to flip a home.
The campaign will offer a number of new statistics that support the group’s claim that the fundamentals of the real estate market are strong, and that real estate continues to be a wise investment.
The National Association of Realtors currently has a membership of more than 1.3 million real estate professionals from around the country.
