Glenloch active adult development continues

The recent drop in interest rates by the Fed fueled optimism for plans for a new active adult development to be built in Algonquin.

Windsor Development, an Elgin-based developer, is planning to build 70 townhomes and 96 single-family homes at Algonquin Road and Highway 25. The single-family homes will be priced from $350,000 to as much as $475,000. Buyers interested in townhomes can choose from units priced from $270,000 to $325,000.

This development will include a clubhouse, swimming pool, and several miles of walking trails. Active adults will love the community activities that allow you to get to know the neighbors.

A recent decline in sales around the Chicago region has worried many developers who are currently building homes and condos around Chicago. However, the Fed has stepped in to give a jumpstart to the market by dropping rates by one of the largest amounts in history.

Sales for these single-family homes and townhomes will start in the spring, just in time for buyers to take advantage of low interest rates.
